St Peter's Church services

Sunday morning service @ 10.30am
Band led worship and activities for children + youth

What happens

Sunday morning is our main church gathering for all ages.

There's always church news at the start, and then we have a time of worship, singing songs which are led by the worship band.  All the words appear on the screen at the front.

There is often a time when anyone can tell the whole church what God has been doing in their life.

We always listen to the Bible being read and hear a talk (sermon).

There are also prayers, some of which are led by different church members each week

On most Sundays we finish the service with communion, taking bread and wine to remember Jesus's death on the cross and resurrection, and His presence with us today.

During communion and after the service you can choose to go to the prayer corner where people will be happy to pray with you about anything.  We believe God answers our prayers by the Holy Spirit who is at work in lives today.

After the service there's time for refreshments and chat.

Children and young people

Ater the first 20 mins of the service the children and young people go out to their own groups, and return either for communion or at the end of the service.

These are led by church members who are all DBS checked.

Celebration Services

6 times a year we have a morning service where we all stay together and there are things for all ages.  We often have drama, action songs, and interactive talks.  In the middle part of the service you can choose to do an activity in one of the different  zones.  The zones included Bible study, craft, food, prayer and games.  The zones are for any ages, and the games are often popular with the adults!

We all come back together for the final part of the service, with refreshments afterwards.
